Inspired by Joseph Beuys' idea that everyone is an artist, this collaborative project invites you to transform and recreate with "German specialties" shipped from Germany to Chicago in sealed DHL boxes. As an immigrant from South Korea who has lived in Germany for 16 years, I've chosen these materials to represent German culture. You are invited to unpack the boxes, read the concepts I've written, and create any form of installation, mixed media, or performance. There are no restrictions on size, duration, or interpretation. Works may be retouched or reimagined by others on a daily basis. Sign your name on the concept note when you're done. You will be credited as a co-creator.
